Cookie policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy covers the Dormora website. The Dormora app will have its own section here before it launches.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep small amounts of data in your browser's local storage. This policy covers both, and we call them all "cookies" here.
2. Cookies we use
Two are strictly necessary for features you ask for, so they don't need your consent. The Google Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.
| Name | What it's for | How long | When it's set |
|---|---|---|---|
dormora.consent (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. | Until you clear it | When you choose |
dormora.theme (local storage) | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | Until you clear it | When you pick a theme |
_ga | Google Analytics: tells one visitor from another. | 2 years | Only if you accept |
_ga_CLMTB5WK6C | Google Analytics: keeps track of your visit. | 2 years | Only if you accept |
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, such as which pages are read most, so we can improve it. It's provided by Google.
Until you accept, and if you reject, Google Analytics sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It sends Google only basic signals, such as that a page was viewed, with no identifier that links one visit to the next.
We don't use Google Analytics for advertising, and we don't share the data with anyone else. Google may process it outside the UK; where it does, it uses safeguards approved under UK data protection law. See our privacy policy for more.
4. Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time:
If you withdraw your consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies this site set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Rejecting analytics cookies doesn't change how the website works for you.
